Magical city in Central Vietnam
Da Lat is undoubtedly one of the most magical places in Vietnam.
Its mountainous location combined with its cool weather, allow relaxation and rest from the heavy heat that characterizes Vietnam in certain areas and certain seasons.

What to do in Dalat?
Ho Xuan Huong Lake:
In the center of Dalat there is a lake with a circumference of seven kilometers.
Although it is an artificial lake, it centers around many activities such as sailing in pedal boats, having a nice picnic, or walking, running and cycling around the lake.
In the northern part of the lake there is a beautiful flower garden with incredible exotic sights.
Valley of Love:
As we have mentioned, Dalat is a particularly romantic travel destination.
A few kilometers north of Xuan Huang Lake, you will reach the Valley of Love which is one of the most famous places for couples in the city.
There is a small lake where you can sail a boat.
Dalat Crazy House:
Once upon a time, there was a Vietnamese architect who decided to build a strange and special place, called Crazy House. Its rooms look like caves with mysterious corners and lots of spider webs. You can enter the rooms to explore the house and even spend the night there.
Crémaillère Railway:
In the eastern part of Xuan Huang Lake there is a railway called Crémaillère Railway.
During the French occupation, this railway was built in order to connect Dalat with its surroundings, but today it is mainly used as the way to reach Linh Phước Pagoda.
Chùa Linh Phước Pagoda:
Linh Phước is an impressive and special pagoda. Visitors can reach it by taxi or motorbike, but we think that taking the Crémaillère Railway train ride is a significant part of the Dalat experience. The ride takes about an hour, the train leaves the station about once every two hours.
Bao Dai Summer Palace:
Next to the Crazy House there is a large and impressive French villa.
The process of building the villa began in 1933 and ended in 1937.
The palace served as a refuge from the heat of the Vietnamese summer for King Bao Dai and members of his royal family and Dalat, as we have already mentioned, is an excellent place for this. In the palace you can see a display of valuable art objects that belonged to the king and his family. The palace is located in the center of a beautiful pine forest.
Attractions in Dalat
Waterfalls in Dalat:
Dalat’s nature is full of many waterfalls worth visiting.
The most famous are Pongour Waterfall and Elephant Waterfall.
In addition, you can do an exciting attraction of abseiling in the waterfalls of Dalat.
Easy Riders:
One of the popular activities in and around Da Lat is Easy Riders.
These are experienced bikers who are just waiting to take you on a tour around the area and serve as your guides.
Such a tour with a local is an extraordinary experience that helps to understand the places and people you will meet.
The trip lasts between 1-3 days, according to your choice. During the tour you will visit beautiful waterfalls, lakes, the special villages around and even some local factories.
Lang Biang Mountain:
Not far from Dalat there is a spectacular mountain called Lang Biang.
Lang Biang has two high peaks, climbing them is a must-do experience.
The paths on the way to the peaks are comfortable and the view from them is simply breathtaking.
The first peak can be reached by a fun Jeep tour. The jeeps leave the bottom of the mountain every few minutes.
In addition to this, there is a camping site on the mountain where you can enjoy various activities such as bird watching, horse riding, paragliding and more.
