Tet Holiday in Vietnam

Tet Holiday is The Vietnamese New Year's celebration based on the Lunar calendar. It is also known as Tet Nguyen Dan. This is the most popular and vlueble holiday in Vietnamese culture. The dates change every year, bur generally around late January or early February.

During Tet Holiday, many Vietnamese people travel back to their home villages to be with their families. They clean their homes, buy new clothes, and prepare special foods.

On the first day of Tet, families gather to pray for good luck and prosperity in the new year. They also visit their ancestors' graves to pay their respects.
